Automist Base Unit

The Automist base unit drives mains water to the spray head when triggered by an alarm input. It is 385 mm (height) by 216 mm (length) by 151 mm (width) and weighs 11.2 kg, and runs at 230V and 50Hz (1.7kW). The kit includes: pump unit, 3/4" inlet hose and user manual. Installation is not included and requires electrical connection. Conventional heat alarm/detector and relay bases are required.

Wall Mount Spray Head

The wall mount spray head is intended for mounting in the side of a staircase, cupboard or any other wall where a suitable cavity is available. The kit includes: spray head, nozzles, 4m high pressure hose, single-gang mounting box face plate and nozzles. A standard single-gang mounting back box is not included.

Tap Mount Spray Head

The tap mount spray head is intended for under-tap mounting and includes: spray head, nozzles and a 2m high pressure hose. Automist has been designed to be compatible with the majority of monobloc taps (45 – 60 mm diameter base) that fit into a standard 35 mm sink or work surface hole.

Worktop Spray Head

The worktop spray head is as per the tap mount spray head but includes a blanking plate to allow mounting on a horizontal worktop or cupboard surface with no tap.

Tee piece

The tee piece allows two spray heads to be connected to a single Automist base unit.

Aico Wired activation kit (Ei164RC/Ei128R)

Heat alarm and relay base for use with the Automist standard kit. Requires mains power and a wired connection to the Automist unit. This unit is BS 5446-2:2003 Class A1 compliant.

Aico Wireless activation kit (Ei164RC/Ei168RC/Ei428)

Heat alarm, RadioLINK base and relay receiver for use with the Automist standard kit. Requires mains power. This unit is BS 5446-2:2003 Class A1 compliant.

Aico Battery wireless activation kit (Ei3103RC/Ei428)

Wireless battery-only heat alarm and wireless relay receiver unit for use with the Automist standard kit. This is the simplest installation choice for activating Automist, requiring no power or alarm cables. This unit is kitemarked to BS5446-2:2000.
