We are looking for a talented Dev Ops Manager who is passionate about delivering high quality, structured code and looking for a challenging and rewarding position that will give you the opportunity to make your mark on a growing business. You will have a portfolio of sites and apps to manage, both internally and externally facing, that show your ability and ambition to push the boundaries of web build whilst maintaining best practice.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead web development projects working with an internal team
- Ensure effective ways of working and best practice towards technical standards
- Keeping up-to-date with recent technological and software developments
- Developing skills and expertise in appropriate software/programming languages
- Producing products that are user-friendly, effective and appealing and manager QA

Skills & Experience:
- Excellent all round front end build experience – HTML5, CSS
- Over 4 year JavaScript experience & knowledgeable PHP understanding
- Agile & QA Best Practice

- Hybrid Apps (Cordova & Ionic)
- Some understanding of back-end technology

As a embedded systems engineer at Plumis, you will be working on the cusp of innovation and take a key role in designing the backend architecture for a new type of fire sprinkler. The role will provide both autonomy and accountability in equal measure allowing the candidate to grow and explore working in a small team of talented and passionate individuals.

Core required Skills and experience
C/C++ full development lifecycle with ARM Cortex Preferred
Operating system and 'bare metal' experience
UML software modelling and analysis
Unit and Module level test harness development
an Understanding of Digital hardware suitable for debugging HW/SW interaction
TCP/IP networking
2.4GHz radio protocols, such as WiFi, Bluetooth, Zigbee etc

Desirable skills or interest areas
Fire alarm systems
Functional safety ICE 61508 or similar
Agile development process (scrum)
FPGA system design
