Our technical team, or one of our Accredited Resellers, can quickly determine whether Automist is suitable for your premises and provide you with a layout recommendation and a cover letter on Automist's suitability. This letter can often be the starting point for a dialogue with building control.

Product Range

Automist Standard Kit (P0001-4N) or (P0001-6N)
The Automist Standard Kit is intended for under-tap mounting and includes: pump unit, control box, mist head and nozzles, high pressure hose. Installation is not included and requires electrical connection. A conventional heat alarm/detector and relay base are required.

Automist Worktop Kit (P0003-4N) or (P0003-6N)
The Automist Worktop Kit is as per the standard kit but includes a blanking plate to allow mounting on a horizontal worktop or cupboard surface with no tap. The kit also includes: pump unit, control box, mist head and nozzles, high pressure hose. Installation is not included and requires electrical connection. A conventional heat alarm/detector and relay base are required.

Automist Wall-mount Kit (P0002-3N)
The Automist Wall-mount Kit is intended for mounting in the side of a staircase, cupboard or any other wall where a suitable cavity is available. The kit includes: pump unit, control box, mist head and nozzles, high pressure hose. Installation is not included and requires electrical connection. A conventional heat alarm/detector and relay base are required.

Automist Wired activation kit (Ei164RC/Ei128R)
Heat alarm and relay base for use with the Automist standard kit. Requires mains power and a wired connection to the Automist unit. This unit is BS 5446-2:2003 Class A1 compliant.

Automist Wireless activation kit (Ei164RC/Ei168RC/Ei428)
Heat alarm, RadioLINK base and relay receiver for use with the Automist standard kit. Requires mains power. This unit is BS 5446-2:2003 Class A1 compliant.

Automist Battery wireless activation kit (Ei3103RC/Ei428)
Wireless battery-only heat alarm and wireless relay receiver unit for use with the Automist standard kit. This is the simplest installation choice for activating Automist, requiring no power or alarm cables. This unit is kitemarked to BS5446-2:2000.

Most installations require an Automist standard kit and an activation kit. Alternatively Automist can
be activated by a standard heat alarm with relay base, or by an alarm panel relay output. Automist should not be connected to a smoke alarm.
