Plumis produces novel solutions in domestic active fire protection to meet building regulations and the RRFSO.  Automist is a fire protection innovation which provides developers with design freedom and flexibility for open plan spaces, in new builds, refurbishments or loft conversions. Automist focuses on seamless integration, ease of retrofit, and whole-room protection.  It is a water-mist device, automatically and reliably triggered by a standard heat alarm to provide life and property protection. Automist was extensively tested by BRE and shown to suppress which would have otherwise flashed-over, bringing active fire protection to homes where previously it was cumbersome or impractical. Our motivation is to help introduce affordable home fire protection into the mainstream.

Plumis are registered members of The Federation Of Master Builders. FMB members work to a strict code of practice which they commit to every year when they renew their membership. The code of practice covers their relationship with customers throughout the building process.
